# Our Native Stablecoin

SEN is the protocol’s native stablecoin, used to issue loans, facilitate leverage, and enable auto-hedging vaults. It is overcollateralized and backed entirely by various cryptocurrency assets upon which leverage is desired - making it both truly decentralized money and a perfect tool for leverage.
